Weather it’s a hobby or an addiction, old outboard motors are just plain cool. Half the fun is rebuilding them and running them on the water. But where would you find a worn part for a 1950′s Johnson? Stone and Sons Marine has the part, along with thousnads of other hard to find part for outboards that would be considered antique. “In the middle 1950s, you had these huge improvements in carburetors and the introduction of bearings instead of bushings” per Jack Stone, as seen written in a loacl paper article. http://www.chron.com/CDA/archives/archive.mpl/2008_4500948/outdoors-the-good-old-days-outboard-motors-from-th.html
